Hi everyone,

As we have surpassed our funding goal we have begun to get all of our ducks into a row and started preparing for manufacture. Things are ticking over nicely, the tooling for the injection moulding for the tyre lever end is in the process of being made by our manufacturer.

Also we have made a few small changes to a few of the dimensions of the chain breaker after getting feedback from our friend who is a professional bike mechanic who has been testing the tool for the last month. We are having one more prototype made to double check that the changes we are making enhance its performance as we expect. As soon as we have tested the new prototype and are happy with everything then we will be ready to press the go button for manufacture.

To give you a bit of background about the manufacturing process the breaker multi tool will use below is a video link explaining the investment casting process (excuse the cheesiness of it:) - maybe skip to 3 minutes in if you just want to get the run down of the process without the overview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BX8w-GUPz1w

It will take a few weeks or so for the prototype to be made and sent to us, but as soon as we have received it and begun testing I will make sure to post an update with more information.

Thanks again for all your support and I will be in touch again shortly.

Cheers

Mark
